Common questions
How do I restore purchases?
Tap Restore purchases on the purchase screen, or open the grown-ups' corner, then TaleCraft Plus. Use the same Apple Account you bought with. Your plan and any stories you have left come back.
How do I cancel Plus?
Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then TaleCraft. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to stop the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel Plus.
How do Plus, the free week and packs work?
TaleCraft Plus gives you 5 new stories every month, for $22.99 a month or $229.99 a year (€24.99 and €249.99 in the euro area). The yearly plan adds its 5 stories each month, not all at once. Unused monthly stories expire at the end of the month. Both plans start with a free week that includes 1 story. Story packs of 2 or 6 never expire and need no plan. 2 stories cost $9.99, 6 stories $29.99. One new story uses one story, whatever its length. Rereading your books, reading them aloud and TaleCraft's own story library are free. Family Sharing is not available.
What if a story doesn't finish?
If a story can't be finished, the story it used is given back automatically. A story you stop before it is ready is given back too, up to 5 a day. If your balance still looks wrong, email us.
Why does a new story need a connection?
New stories are written, painted and read aloud on TaleCraft's server, which takes a few minutes. You can lock the iPhone: a Live Activity shows how far the story has got, and a notification says when it is ready, if you allow them. Books on your shelf and TaleCraft's own library open without a connection.
How do I open the grown-ups' corner?
Press and hold the star until it glows, then type the answer to the sum on the number pad and tap OK. After two wrong answers the gate rests for 30 seconds.
How do I delete everything?
In the grown-ups' corner, open Start fresh and tap “Forget everything”: the server deletes every story and memory it keeps for your family. “Let every story drift away” deletes the books on this iPhone. Deleting the app can't reach the server, so tap “Forget everything” first. You can also email us your support code (grown-ups' corner, About) and we will delete your family's data. If you have Plus, cancel it separately.
Which languages can TaleCraft tell stories in?
English, Croatian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, and Chinese, or any other language you type in the grown-ups' corner. Stories follow your iPhone's language unless you choose another.
Which devices does TaleCraft run on?
iPhone, with iOS 26 or later.
